Product details

Instructions for use:

Use PROSEPT® Burs undiluted. Pour the solution into a suitable disinfection tray or ultrasonic bath. The amount of solution must be sufficient to completely cover the instruments during the process.

It is recommended to immerse rotary instruments in the solution as soon as possible after use to prevent residues from drying and facilitate cleaning. Instruments must be placed in the solution so that they are completely submerged and the solution reaches all surfaces.

After immersion, leave the instruments in the solution for the prescribed contact time. Do not exceed the contact time. For broad disinfectant action, a contact time of up to 60 secondsis usually used.

After the process is complete, remove the instruments from the solution and allow them to dry. Rinsing with water is not necessary after disinfection. If visible impurities are still present on the instruments after the process, remove them with a suitable brush and repeat the process if necessary.

Change the working solution daily or sooner if it becomes visibly dirty or contaminated.

Summary of the use process:

  1. Pour the solution into the disinfection tray.
  2. Immediately after use, completely immerse the instruments in the undiluted solution.
  3. Wait for the prescribed contact time.
  4. Remove the instruments from the solution.
  5. Allow them to dry.
  6. Do not rinse instruments with water after disinfection.
  7. If visible impurities are still present, remove them with a brush and repeat the process.
  8. Change the solution daily or sooner if it is visibly dirty.

Key benefits:

  • no dilution,
  • fast action,
  • suitable for immersion disinfection of rotary instruments,
  • also suitable for ultrasonic baths,

Material compatibility:

PROSEPT® Burs is suitable for instruments that are compatible with alkaline agents and alcohol. It can be used for various rotary instruments made of suitable materials such as stainless steel, tungsten carbide, ceramics, polymers, and silicone.

The product is not suitable for aluminum. Always check the instrument manufacturer's instructions before use, especially for sensitive or special materials.

Contact time:

For the broadest effectiveness, we recommend a contact time of up to 60 seconds, as this time also covers broader disinfectant action, including mycobactericidal, tuberculocidal, and fungicidal effects.

Do not exceed the contact time, as prolonged exposure can affect the instrument material.
