BASIC COURSE
Solid foundations are the basis for quality work.
BELLU BASIC is a comprehensive and structured training course designed for anyone who wants to lay a solid foundation in the world of nail design and learn how to work correctly, safely, and confidently right from the start.
The program is designed for beginners or stylists with basic prior knowledge who want to understand the essence of working with nails: proper natural nail preparation, the basics of material application, precise application, and the gradual development of a sense of shape, symmetry, and aesthetics. The course aims to build stable knowledge upon which participants can long-term build their practice and confidence when working with clients.
What will you learn in the BASIC course?
✔ correct and precise preparation of the natural
nail and cuticles using basic grinding attachments
✔ safe and controlled work with an electric
grinder, adapted to beginner knowledge
✔ correct application of base / BIAB / gel with
the aim of good durability and a stable base
✔ understanding and basic mastery of
the self-leveling properties of the material for
easier and more beautiful application
The theoretical part includes:
- correct disinfection and sterilization of tools
- learning about nail anatomy and various diseases/injuries at work
- electric nail file and its safe and proper use
- learning about nail file bits and safe work with them
- safe use of hand tools (pusher, scissors, nippers)
- learning about liquids for natural nail preparation
- overview and understanding of all types of materials on the market (hardness, flexibility)
- explanation of when to use a base, when BIAB, and when gel
- use of acrylic gel when working with natural nails
- practical tips for efficient and professional work in the salon
PRACTICAL PART
In the practical part of the course, models join us who must meet the following requirements:
- model with natural nails (without extensions), on which the material is 3–4 weeks old.
- The type of material is not important – it can be gel, BIAB, base, or acrylic gel,
- it also does not matter whether the material is lifted, damaged, or improperly applied.
- On the contrary – more imperfections mean more practical examples and a richer course experience.
The practical part includes:
- safe material removal and nail plate preparation,
- safe cuticle care with a sanding device and scissors,
- proper shaping of the natural nail,
- NO file technique,
- application of color base or biab,
- application of gel polish,
- basic introduction to French manicure,
- final nail shaping after the service,
- basics of professional photography of the finished work.
Conclusion of the BASIC course
Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive an official certificate, confirming your knowledge and competence for professional work.
In addition, we offer continuous professional support throughout the year – for all questions, advice, and assistance with daily salon work. With us, after the course, you are never left to your own devices.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- the training is suitable for beginners
- the participant must provide her own model for correction (nails 3-4 weeks old)
- the cuticles must be undamaged
- the model must not be a nail stylist
Duration
⏱️ 1 day (approx. 5-6 hours of intensive work).
